over links to a file sharing site, Google as MS are being sued

Blue Destiny Records is the mini music label that has sued both Google, as well as Microsoft for allegedly "facilitating and enabling" illegal distribution of their copyrighted materials.

With a US federal court, the suit had been filed on Monday, over in Northern Florida. the suit is basically being considered as an attempt to choke off the distribution of Blue Destiny tunes, on RapidShare, which is a Germany-based file-sharing service.

RapidShare is being accused of knowingly running "a distribution center for unlawful copies of copyrighted works."
